How to use Etsy Presets

Firstly, thank you for purchasing my Lightroom Presets! I work so hard on making these the best they can be at a very affordable price!

If you bought presets somewhere else and would like to see mine, feel free to explore my items using this link HERE!

How do I download Presets to my phone?

  1. The first thing to do is to download the ZIP file that you should have access to after purchasing a Lightroom Preset, you can do this by searching on Google for an un-zip app. This might be different for Android & iOS users.
  2. Secondly, you should open the FREE Lightroom Mobile App and upload the digital file that you just un-zipped.
  3. Once it is uploaded on your Lightroom Mobile App, you should press the 3 dots (top right).
  4. Then click on Create Preset.
  5. Here, you can name it whatever you want to.. I recommend sticking with the name of the Preset that you bought so you know which one is which - E.g. Bright Summer by Rosie Andre.
  6. Press the tick to save this Lightroom Preset on your App.
  7. Then, if you upload & select another photograph that you have taken, you can now apply this same Lightroom Preset to it.
  8. Click the "Presets" tab along the bottom of the Lightroom App, scroll down to User Presets.
  9. Select the Preset that you have just created and voila!
  10. You might want to make some minor changes such as the Exposure in the "Light" tab and the Temp in the "Colour" tab.. but other than that you should be good to go!

How do I download Presets to my desktop?

  1. The first thing to do is to download the ZIP file that you should have access to after purchasing a Lightroom Preset, you can do this by searching on Google for an un-zip website if you don't already have one on your desktop.
  2. Go to Adobe and purchase this package HERE (this is what I have as it's only $10 per month and includes Lightroom & Photoshop).
  3. Once fully downloaded and working, import the DNG file that you un-zipped.
  4. Select the photo and click on "Develop" to edit the photograph and save the Lightroom Preset.
  5. Once in the editing section of Lightroom, click "Develop" along the top bar on the left.
  6. Select "New Preset" and name the Preset whatever you want to.. I recommend sticking with the name of the Preset that you bought so you know which one is which - E.g. Bright Summer by Rosie Andre.
  7. Make sure all the boxes are selected, create a new Group at the top and press "Create".
  8. Now you have saved the DNG file as a Preset and can use it on other photographs.
  9. Upload another photograph, this time one that you have taken and wish to edit.
  10. Go to "Develop" to edit the photograph and this time, go to the left hand side, find the Preset within the group and select it.
  11. You might want to make some minor changes such as the Exposure and the Temp.. but other than that you should be good to go!
