Photographs of the French Countryside

Rosie Andre

The French countryside is so different to English countryside. There are vineyards flowing over the hills as far as the eye can see. There are huge mountains, beautiful trees and wild flowers. It's not what I'm used to but I love it all the same.

The countryside in France is greener than I expected before moving over here. I thought it would be drier and with less trees and greenery.

I think my favourite thing about the French countryside is the vineyards. You can wander around the fields, picking grapes to eat along the way. And wherever there are vineyards, there must be wineries close by. I love French wine and tasting different wines from different regions. My favourites in this region are the sweet wines.

Beautiful photos! I would be so interested in seeing the difference between English and French countrysides! I haven’t been to either places, so it’d be a pleasant surprise for me.
